ABOUT ME
I am an American transplant to Canada with a tapestry of experience in various church and parachurch organizations. Over the years I have served as a campus chaplain, high school and college instructor, and most recently as Co-Founder of A Rocha Canada, a Christian Conservation organization working to show God's love for all creation. In addition to serving as a spiritual director with A Rocha, I am an author, retreat leader, and conference speaker on themes of Christian spiritual formation and creation care. I am married, have two delightful, nearly grown daughters, and live in intentional community at Kingfisher Farm in Surrey, BC. People tell me I'm kind.
MY CREDENTIALS
I have an undergraduate degree in Religious Studies from the University of Arizona, an M.A. in Theological Studies from Regent College, and certificates in Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Direction from Soul Formation out of Portland, OR. That's the schooly side of my credentials, but perhaps my most significant credential is my nearly life-long response to the invitation to know and be known by God. This has meant pursuing a life that is bent toward healing, justice, and transformation for both people and places.
