A WORD ABOUT TITLES

I know what you're thinking: Spiritual Director and Earthkeeper? What in the world do those things have in common (and, perhaps, what in the world are they!?!). In reply, allow me to quote Alan Jones who said anyone writing about the spiritual life "would need to be very grounded in ordinary, everyday experience. She would need to be earthy and have the ability to see the funny side of the spiritual enterprise even in the midst of great suffering...She would need to be able to make judgments without being judgmental...and [hold to] a vision of the glory and joy that is everyone's birth-right in God."
